Vill ni komma tidigt på snö, då
är Muonio-området det rätta. Här kommer
snön tidigare än på andra håll, och här
har under många år satsats på just längdåkning.
Sedan åratal tränar elit och landslag i Muonio redan
i oktober, och fler och fler nationer upptäcker det stora
utbudet och den seriösa satsningen. Norrmän, svenskar,
japaner, tyskar, österrikare, ryssar, ester, kazaker...
Rajamaa
har fullt utrustade stugor och en liten restaurant. Litet och
familjärt och med ett lugnt läge för den som
vill koncentrera sig på träningen. Vi har egna spår
och Olos spår-central bara 10 minuters körning härifrån.
Här finns miltals med "tidiga" spår, både
för konst- och natursnö. Konstsnö 7 km. Tidiga
spår 55 km, varav 25 elljus! Därtill internationella
skidskyttebanor! Inte så konstigt att flera goda resultat
i stora mästerskap grundlagts här i Muonio..
Priser 2007
Rajamaa has been owned by the Malmström family since the start 1986. We have chalets and a restaurant and we are situated on the Swedish side of the border, 10 minutes drive from Olos skiing centre. We have organized training camps for more than 15 years.
The small chalets have 2 beds in one room, shower/WC, drying closet, and mini-kitchen.
The big chalets have 2 beds in 2 bedrooms. 1 big room, with possibility for 2 more beds. All together max 6 beds. Shower/WC, drying closet, mini-kitchen.
Breakfast is from a buffet. Lunch is normally fish or soup, from buffet. Dinner is also from buffet, including desert.
There is a sauna in the main-building, where is also TV with satellite channels.
There is a space for waxing skis, free of use.
Included in the price:
Accommodation in chalets. Bed-linen.
Daily sauna.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner at our restaurant.
Access to the tracks at Olos.
